On August 1, CHN Energy successfully exported 118 tons of its new polypropylene product, K1870E, to Uzbekistan, marking the first export of this product to Central Asia.
K1870E is an optimized and upgraded version of the K1870 plastic, a kind of thin-walled injection molding plastic of high melt flow rate. With a melt flow rate of 75g/10min, the product’s toughness, transparency, and processability have been improved by increasing its ethylene content. Additionally, the additive formula has been deeply optimized, giving the product a unique blue hue. It is widely applicable in the production of disposable fast-food boxes, bowls, plates, plastic cups, and aviation cups.
CHN Energy focuses on the clean and efficient conversion of coal energy, successfully constructing and operating several world-leading coal chemical demonstration projects. These include the world's only million-ton-level direct coal liquefaction plant, the world's first 600,000-ton/year coal-to-olefins plant, Asia's first 100,000-ton-level CCUS facility, and the world's first 50,000-ton/year PGA plant. The company continues to play a leading role in the modern coal chemical industry in China.
